Cell Phones are a Contributing Factor to the Growing Erectile Dysfunction Epidemic
30 million men in America have trouble getting or maintaining an erection. Absolutely mind-boggling.
While our understanding of erectile dysfunction (ED) is still in its early stages, doctors say that it is a result of both mental and physiological factors. In older men, ED is usually caused by a narrowing of arteries, but ED is rapidly increasing amongst younger men who’s arteries are usually not the cause. Something else is at play here.
Although cell phones and their EMF’s haven’t been around long enough to fully understand their impact on ED, many studies have already linked cell phones to ED.
A study published in the Central European Journal of Urology by medical researchers in Egypt and Austria found men with ED carried their cell phones in their pockets for almost three more hours per day than men without ED.
In another study, scientists found that men with ED were 2.6 times more likely to keep their cell phones in their front pockets.
Given the overwhelming evidence showing the effects of EMF’s on testicular function, it is safe to conclude that EMF’s are also playing a role in ED.
